The Carillon Miami Wellness Resort
On a recent return to The Carillon Miami Wellness Resort, last March, I was on a mission to sample some of the oceanfront spa resort’s many new “touchless” wellness protocols. The iconic spa had recently augmented its extensive menu with an array of exciting options using high-tech equipment, which gave me good reason to go back to a place that I loved visiting in 2019. On that trip, I stayed in one of the resort’s one-bedroom ocean-view apartments, ate at its The Strand restaurant, relished expert treatments and used many of its amazing options, including fitness classes and the Thermal Hydrotherapy Circuit, a comprehensive series of hot and cold experiences that activate circulation: tropical rain showers, an herbal laconium, a foot bath, a crystal steam room, an igloo, a Finnish sauna and a jet-enhanced vitality tub.
